I'll be sending the following Disclaimer Notice to our members who decide to pay their dues this year online on the NY website.  The NY website will also appear on our Albany Colony website.  If you go to the Albany Colony website and click Mayflower New York on the "cover page", it will take you to the NY website.  In the upper right hand corner, click payment and you'll see the Albany Colony payment site.

Each of us will receive a letter and an envelope to return to NY with a dues check and explaining the option for online payment.  (Not certain LIfe Members will receive this letter as they will not pay dues.  However, there is an option on the NY website for contributions to Albany Colony.  As a result, maybe they will mail everyone the letter and envelope.)

Alexis & her assistant, Isabella, recommend that we reinforce this disclaimer process for those members paying online.  Basically it says, if you check the box on the "Complete payment" page making a contribution to Blackbaud (the website service), your dues will be $76.30 and it's non-reimbursable.  If you "uncheck" it, your dues will be $70.

The first year letting NY collect our dues will undoubtedly have some "hic-cups."  The good news is that our annual dues for 2026 remains at $70.  Additionally, we're lucky we have Alexis working with us; she plans to attend our May meeting again and I'm sure the topic of collecting 2026 dues will be discussed.  Who knows, maybe the process will be flawless.
